The Phelps Family
This is my retort to the Phelps family and their anti-homosexual ideology:

A few things.......
First, a random musing: It seems clear to me that a group of people such as yourselves, with the seemingly low IQ's and backward thoughts could only be a result of generation after generation of inbreeding.
Second, a perplexing thought: Could it be that the reason why your leader, Fred Phelps preaches against homosexuality so much is because he (because of his religious convictions) is ashamed of his own homosexuality. I mean what is a better way to hide something that you are truely ashamed of then to completely deny it and damn it.
Third, a hopefull contemplation: I saw on the news that your younger members don't date. You have no idea how happy that makes me. It makes my heart swell with joy to know that your younger members won't be passing their genes onto the next generation of human beings. It's natural selection at its finest. The strong surpassing the week and the intelligent allowing the ignorant to die out on their own.
Do you really want to know what is destroying America? It is division. It is the segregation of ethnicities, religions, cultures, lifestyles, thoughts, and ideals. What is the driving force that places the wedge between the various groups, cultures, and sub-cultures of the US and pushes them further apart? It is hate. A hatred that is so infectious that it has spread from coast to coast. Does not the bible say "love thy neighbor" and does not Jesus say "let ye who is without sin cast the first stone"? You propagate hatred in the name of your religion but it is that same religion that denounces hate and commands its followers to abstain from hatred and committing acts of hatred. However, I suppose like many poeple you guys only consider the teachings out of the Bible that you really want to hear but I digress.... So it is a lack of unity that is destroying America, a lack of unity that is caused by hate, and hate is preached and propagated by people like yourselves. So in reality the destruction of the US is being caused by.... you.

Well, I have to say that for the first time I can say that I completely agree with what you're saying. The Phelps family is a horrible example of the Christian faith, and unfortunately they're the ones who are getting the most press. You're comment about division is dead on, but unfortunately we live in society that stresses the diversity doctrine. Don't get me wrong, differences in preferences and personalities are a good thing, where it goes wrong is when core beliefs and values are encouraged to be different. I hate to admit it, but as a reference to a past conversation between myself and the author of this blog revealed: America is on her way out of Super Power status; that is, if we continue on this cultural track.
[sigh...] This country is falling apart because everyone is fighting for their rights. Black rights, hispanic rights, women's rights... Because everyone must isolate themselves into a group, we are dividing ourselves when we should instead unify. Who cares that some guy got your job? There are thousands out there, probably even better than the one you're going for, except for the fact that you're just too lazy to try hard for a job that's actually worth something. If you want equality, then stop diversifying our nation and overpowering your race/gender/class over others. Honestly, sooner or later white males are going to have to fight for their rights, because it will have been all but taken away from the other lazy bastards who want the easy way through life...
